I think your company should be providing more protection to innocent users by preventing personal financial information from being seen by a third party. I lost a lot of money this way - a 6 figure number.

The Anydesk software and phone app was used by fraudulent trading companies to look at the contents of my bank accounts and to 'help me to transfer my money' into their fake trading accounts. Just because they say you owe them money does not mean you do. I suggest to anyone that has been threatened by anydesk to avoid paying them.
Although with Teamviewer its even worse as you need to send them a written letter to process your cancellation (what century are they in?). Be careful as Teamviewer is also based in Europe and has a similar cancellation policy. These "evergreen clauses" should be scrapped and its about time the law works for PEOPLE and not businesses used to exploit their customers. Someone named "Greg" has called us demanding payment and now they're threatening to send this to collections in Europe. We have lost all trust in Anydesk and have moved to an alternative remote solution. They indicate that you can cancel within 14-days or cancel your subscription from within your account but it would be HELPFUL if you would let people know of the 90 day requirement instead of burying that information. No where on the website do they list this. What exactly is the point of unselecting that feature if you're going to auto-renew accounts anyway and then send us an invoice? We gave them a months notice for our cancellation however they require 90 day notice for your cancellation (lol) and they hide this info in fine print.

They will auto-renew your license months in advance even if you unselect the "auto-renew" option from within your account. To anyone new reading this and considering signing up with anydesk, do not under any circumstances sign up for an annual license. AnyDesk is a Remote Control Desktop software, just like there is one built-in Windows (however it sucks big time so nobody uses it ) AnyDesk Vs Teamviewer (Which is better?) I have used TeamViewer since the beginning, however, it became crappy with its force login, sign-in, limited device, and licensing.

So how did they end up here? Well, them people got a phony scam call from a call center located somewhere in India, they thought it was from the government (couldn't even tell an Indian accent with fake names) and then they were asked to download AnyDesk or Teamviewer or any other remote desktop software, which scammers used to accomplish their dirty work. They themselves are Utterly STUPID and blame a company that is in no way responsible for any of the scams. Scam? All those reviews in which people are shouting that they are a scam are basically people with zero knowledge and oblivious to the fact of how computers work. Is AnyDesk A Scam? or Best Remote Desktop Software?
